We, the Vadere research group, used Vadere to investigate the effect of the message design on route choice behavior and, thus, on traffic behavior. For this purpose, we conducted a survey with more than 1000 football fans. From the survey data, we obtained route distributions that we fed into Vadere. Our results can be found in our paper or in our short video below.

The survey was part of the roVer research project. In this project, we investigated how direct communication technologies based on 5G networks can be used to improve traffic. Watch our project film for an overview of our research results.
